The DR 1218 food dryer is suitable for drying fruit, vegetables, herbs, meat, mushrooms, fish and other foods. Retains essential minerals in food for well-being, fitness and health. Drying is a very gentle method that preserves vitamins and nutrients. This food dryer is also suitable for making muesli, dried jerky, dried vegetable stock and vegetable chips or dried meat. The temperature can be set in the range of 35-75 °C in 5 °C steps - this makes it suitable for preparing dried apple, banana, tomatoes, etc. The temperature spreads evenly and you can be sure that no water will remain in the food. Easy cleaning is guaranteed by the removable stainless steel shelves, which can be easily rinsed. These have dimensions of 33 x 30.5 cm and there are a total of 6 in the dryer. The interior space has a total volume of 0.6 m², which is suitable for preparing up to 2.6 kg of food. The outer shell remains cool even during operation, thanks to the thermally insulated stainless steel cladding. The front part is equipped with a large window for checking the status of the food. The dryer is equipped with an electronic timer that can be set from 30 minutes to 24 hours, with the remaining time displayed on the LED display. Next to the display is a touch control panel for setting the dryer. It is also equipped with protection against overheating.
